IT / Assistant Manager

About the role

Join our pre-opening team at an internationally branded hotel in Jomtien, Pattaya as an IT Manager / Assistant IT Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the hotel's technology infrastructure from the ground up and ensure that guests and colleagues have a reliable, secure, and efficient digital environment from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the hotel's day-to-day IT operations and technology infrastructure.
• Support the pre-opening implementation, testing, and commissioning of IT systems and equipment.
• Manage and maintain hotel systems including PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, network, servers, computers, telephones, CCTV, access control, and other technology systems.
• Coordinate with hotel brand/corporate IT teams, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure reliable and secure internet and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the hotel.
• Provide technical support to all departments and promptly resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, system security, backups, and data protection.
• Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, security standards, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with hotel and brand IT standards.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in an international hotel brand is highly preferred.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of hotel technology systems such as PMS, POS, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, CCTV, telephone systems, and server environments.
• Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, backup systems, and cybersecurity.
• Experience coordinating with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Good command of Thai and English, written and spoken.
