IT Assistant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced IT Assistant Manager to support the management and overall operations of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and IT services. The role will assist in ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, and security of critical IT systems while supporting business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the company overall IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and IT services.
• Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoint devices, backup, cloud services, and user access.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of critical IT systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, standards, and cybersecurity controls.
• Manage cybersecurity activities including endpoint protection, firewall, VPN, MFA, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Oversee ERP, MES, business applications, system integration, and IT related digital transformation projects.
• Work closely with business departments to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Develop and maintain IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, including backup and recovery testing.
• Support internal, customer, and external IT/security audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the IT team to achieve operational and project objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT efficiency through automation, BI, AI, and digitalization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP/business applications, and IT operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of IT security, networking, servers, backup/DR, Microsoft technologies, and system administration.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and external service providers.
• Strong problem solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
