IT Associate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 year of experience in IT support, technical support, or a related role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and wired/wireless connectivity.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, network connections, and other IT equipment.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, access points, and basic network configuration is an advantage.
• Knowledge or exposure to Fortinet/FortiGate, Ruijie/Reyee, MikroTik, or Cisco is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Willing to learn and perform various IT-related tasks and technical support duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support to employees, trainees, and other users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic wired and wireless network and internet connectivity issues.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
• Assist in monitoring network connectivity and basic network performance.
• Assist with user accounts, software installation, system updates, and basic IT configurations.
• Perform preventive maintenance of computers, network equipment, and other IT assets.
• Coordinate with ISPs and IT vendors for technical concerns, repairs, installations, and maintenance when required.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory, service records, incident reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist in IT infrastructure projects, Smart Campus initiatives, and other technology-related activities.
• Perform other IT support duties as assigned.
