IT Audit Associate

The IT Audit Associate assists in evaluating the SteelAsia’s IT systems and processes to ensure they are secure, efficient, and compliant with company policies and regulations. This role involves conducting audits under supervision, identifying risks, and supporting the improvement of IT controls.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assists in performing IT audits of systems, applications, and infrastructure – including business continuity and disaster recovery management, in accordance with the annual audit plan
• Helps assess IT controls and identify potential risks or control weaknesses
• Documents audit findings clearly and accurately
• Supports follow-up activities to ensure audit recommendations are implemented
• Participates in reviewing IT policies and procedures for compliance
• Works closely with IT and business teams to gather information and clarify audit issues
• Stays updated on basic IT security and audit best practices
• Complies with the global internal audit standards and the IIA code of ethics
• Participates in various culture-building activities
• Performs administrative responsibilities as required

Qualification/s:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and information security
• Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery
• Basic knowledge of IT audit principles
• Familiarity with AI and ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and develop IT auditing skills
• No experience required; 1–2 years of IT or audit experience/internship is an advantage
• CISA certification (in progress) or relevant IT certifications/courses is an advantage
• Must be able and willing to work in BGC, Taguig
