IT Audit Manager

For our client, we are seeking a IT Audit Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $135,000 – $155,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT Risk-Based Audit engagements from planning to reporting
• Collaborate with operational audit teams to test IT General Controls and key risks
• Manage IT Continuous Audit testing, including risk assessment and procedure design
• Coordinate with external stakeholders during IT Audit testing for Financial Statement Audits
• Conduct advisory projects and contribute to departmental initiatives as needed
• Communicate IT issues and potential solutions to business partners and leadership
• Evaluate the impact of new technologies on IT controls and organizational risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems or equivalent required
• 7+ years in IT audit or IT experience in information security/cybersecurity, systems engineering or IT operations
• CISA certification or equivalent (must obtain within first 2 years)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven experience in leading and developing team members
• Experience in a flexible/remote working environment
