IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to clearly understand their requirements, scope, painpoints, and goals.
• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements through assessments, workshops,interviews, user stories, and process analysis.
• Translate business requirements into detailed, concise, and actionable user stories or specificationsfor the development team.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, solution architects, and specializedteams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrumenvironment.
• Support testing activities by helping to define test cases, performing UAT, and validating deliverablesmeet business expectations.
• Assist in change management and training materials preparation.
• Act as a point of contact between business units and the development team, ensuringconsistent alignment, communication, resources, and dependencies.
• Monitor, coordinate and be liaison with client for change request, post-support or maintenanceservices
• Champion business analysis best practices, often mentoring junior analysts and shaping BA standards
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Act as a domain expert, often specializing in finance, healthcare, retail, or other verticals.
• Continuously evaluate business processes to recommend improvements or enhancements.
• Propose innovative solutions that blend business strategy with technological capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development or Agile environment.
• Proficiency in writing user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and workflows.
• Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma).
• Basic knowledge of databases or APIs.
• Domain knowledge in Fintech or Insurance will be an added advantage.
