IT Business analyst

About the role

AGNOS HEALTH CO., LTD. is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Huay Kwang, Bangkok. As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between our business operations and technology teams, translating business requirements into effective IT solutions. You will play a strategic role in identifying process improvements, analysing business challenges, and recommending technology-driven solutions that align with our organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

1. Gather, document and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation
2. Conduct thorough system analysis to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement
3. Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases for IT development teams
4. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system designs meet business requirements
5. Perform testing and validation of IT solutions to ensure they deliver expected business outcomes
6. Identify and assess the impact of process changes on business operations
7. Prepare business case documentation and cost-benefit analyses for IT initiatives
8. Support stakeholders and end-users through training and documentation of new systems and processes
9. Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements based on business feedback
10. Participate in project planning, scheduling and scope management activities

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT environments
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business problems
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, both written and verbal
5. Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
6. Experience in data analysis and working with databases
7. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles
8. Ability to document requirements clearly and create process flows and system diagrams
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
10. Experience in healthcare, medical technology or related industries is highly valued
11. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is advantageous
