IT Business Analyst

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for system development or enhancement projects.
• Hands-on experience preparing and maintaining:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
• Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Business Process Documentation
• Experience analyzing and improving business processes in support of digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with business users, project managers, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and Post-Go-Live activities, including the review of test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize deliverables while keeping project scope and timelines on track.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and present solutions to business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration and documentation platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer finance, digital lending, banking operations, or financial services.
• Experience working with external vendors or third-party system providers.
• Experience leading small-scale initiatives or providing guidance or mentoring to junior Business Analysts.

Job Description

• Gather and analyze business requirements for system development and enhancement projects.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements.
• Design, review, and update business processes to support business transformation and system improvements.
• Help define and manage project scope to support timely delivery.
• Provide high-level estimates based on business requirements and project scope.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and serve as a point of escalation for business analysis-related concerns.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate the review and approval of Business Requirements Documents (BRD), ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are clearly documented.
• Develop and maintain Functional Specification Documents (FSD) that align business requirements with system capabilities.
• Work with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure that solutions meet documented business needs.
• Assist in developing and reviewing SIT and UAT test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in creating or updating business processes based on new or enhanced requirements.
• Provide business and requirements support during SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and Post-Go-Live activities.
• Help facilitate communication between business users and technology teams to clarify requirements, issues, and expected system behavior.
• Monitor and help resolve issues escalated by project teams or business stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: Php65,000.00 per month
