IT Business Analyst

About the role

Sanmina - SCI Systems (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our growing Information and Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Mueang Pathum Thani, Pathum Thani. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring that our IT initiatives align with organisational objectives and deliver measurable value. This position is essential to the success of our digital transformation efforts and strategic technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and functional requirements for IT solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT initiatives and system implementations
• Collaborate with IT development teams, project managers and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery
• Design and optimise business processes through the application of technology and system improvements
• Develop user stories, use cases and process flow diagrams to support system development and implementation
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
• Provide training and support documentation to end users for new systems and processes
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintain detailed records of requirements, changes and project outcomes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the technology sector
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation tools and techniques
• Experience with business process modelling and workflow analysis
• Knowledge of database concepts and basic SQL is advantageous
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with business intelligence or data visualisation tools is preferred
• Experience in the electronics or manufacturing sector would be beneficial
