IT Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Hybrid (3x a week RTO) | Mid Shift | Makati City

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system require(ments with IT Project Managers, Business Leads, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops and process assessments to identify gaps, risks, and pain points.
• Analyze and model business processes and workflows for improvement.
• Develop clear user stories, functional/non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Development teams to implement process improvements.
• Identify, track, and escalate project risks and issues.
• Create detailed specifications for business processes, system functionality, and reports.
• Maintain business rules and process documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
• Support QA by providing input on test plans and test cases.
• Participate in application testing, deployment, and release activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business requirements gathering and analysis, preferably in the financial sector.

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Oracle EBS, SSRS, SharePoint, Business Objects, and ERP solutions.

• Proficient in MS Office, data reporting, and project/requirements management tools.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience coaching or mentoring junior Business Analysts is preferred.

• BA certification (CCBA or equivalent) is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of technology trends and their business applications.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex IT and business environments.

• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

• Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure and changing business needs.
