IT Business Analyst / Systems Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Analyze business needs to identify opportunities for process improvements through FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement new systems or modify existing ones.
• Develop system requirements documents and ensure they align with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct testing and validation of IT systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements :

• Prior experience in system requirements engineering, systems engineering, embedded software, electronic tools, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to translate business and customer requirements into detailed technical requirements.
• Experience creating and maintaining SRS/FRS and requirements documentation.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as Integrity; knowledge of DOORS is an advantage.
• Experience creating flow charts, system context diagrams, and boundary diagrams using Visio, Microsoft Word, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of system interfaces, dependencies, functional decomposition, and requirements traceability.
• Experience identifying failure cases during requirements development and exposure to FMEA methodologies.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software/product development, testing, verification, and validation processes.
• Knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methodology is an advantage.
• Experience documenting requirements for mobile platforms such as Android or iOS is preferred.
• Automotive domain experience, particularly in embedded systems or electronic products, is preferred.
• Knowledge of PC/mobile software platforms, embedded systems, software lifecycle tools, and configuration/change management is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Good team-player skills with a willingness to learn new applications, products, and technologies.
• Ability to manage complexity, make sound technical decisions, and deliver quality results within committed timelines.
