JOB TITLE: IT Business Consultant (Implementation)

Key duties & responsibilities

• Analyse clients' business problems and process issues and translate them into clear business and functional requirements.
• Conduct market research to assess technology options and provide unbiased recommendations to clients on what is the most appropriate solution.
• Build robust business cases, including ROI, cost-benefit and total-cost-of-ownership analysis, to support client investment decisions and prioritisation.
• Challenge and prioritise the requirements so that a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) can be arrived at.
• Develop cost savings opportunities, revenue growth, and business improvement.
• Plan and direct the change-management side of each implementation, assessing readiness, engaging impacted users and embedding new processes and systems.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on adoption, process change and benefits realisation, ensuring technology delivers measurable business value.

Essential requirements

• Demonstrable experience supporting IT / technology transformation from concept through to implementation.
• Proven experience in business consulting, management consulting, or advisory service in a client facing role
• Strong requirements analysis and solution design capability, bridging business needs and technical delivery.
• Experience in working on IT teams that work inside IT methodologies like Prince2, Agile and SAFe
• Experience in working within the manufacturing and retail domain
• Strong commercial analysis skills, including building business cases and conducting ROI, cost-benefit and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong change management experience

Desirable requirements

• Experience in Enterprise grade ERP systems. Experience in Infor CloudSuite and Microsoft Business Central is desirable.
• Experience in mapping and designing business canvas and capability models
• Experience with working with 3 parties and technology solution providers and Systems Integrators
• Experience in Aerospace and discrete manufacturing
