IT Compliance Officer

About the role

The IT Compliance Officer assists in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of compliance programs across business units and regions, supporting the development and updating of policies, SOPs, guidelines, audit checklists and compliance procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of compliance programs across business units and regions;
• Support development and updating of policies, SOPs, guidelines, audit checklists and compliance procedures;
• Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from incidents, audits, inspections and compliance findings;
• Coordinate internal and external audits, certification activities, compliance assessments, and evidence collection exercises;
• Promote information security awareness through training, communications, and engagement initiatives;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to promote compliance awareness and the implementation of corporate requirements;
• Assist in risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance reporting to management;
• Support the maintenance and administration of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and related governance processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree holder in any disciplines;
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in information security compliance, IT audit, risk management, governance, or related functions;
• Exposure to ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, PCI-3DS or other compliance and management frameworks is preferred;
• Experience in internal audits, compliance monitoring or management systems administration is preferred;
• Experience supporting external certification is preferred;
• Certification as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor in ISO 27001 or other relevant management system standards is preferred;
• Practical experience in data analytics, automation tools, or AI-supported workflows is an advantage;
• Strong analytical, report-writing and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills;
• High level of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement.
