IT Consultant

As demand for digital health solutions and clinical research technology continues to grow, the company is expanding its commercial operations and is now seeking an experienced IT Consultant to drive strategic growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Analyse healthcare organisations and clinical research bodies IT requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.

· Provide support to clients with their IT software’s and networks.

· Design, implement, and maintain secure, integrated software systems for healthcare data management, clinical research tracking, validation, analysis, and regulatory reporting.

· Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, design, test and install IT systems to meet their needs.

· Provide technical consultancy on digital health technologies, clinical research systems, data management platforms, and software integration.

· Organise user training and prepare documentation for IT systems.

· Manages and maintains website content and functionality, monitors web traffic and performance, and ensures the reliable operation, availability, and security of websites and web servers.

· Support the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with the company’s commercial objectives and long-term growth plans.

· Build and maintain strong client relationships, assess customer needs, and recommend bespoke IT solutions that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

· Monitor project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and service standards to ensure the successful delivery of IT consultancy services.

Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience in IT consultancy, systems analysis, or technology implementation.

· Strong knowledge of website management, web technologies, server administration, and database management.

· Experience in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications and integrated IT systems.

· Knowledge of healthcare technology, clinical research systems, and electronic data management platforms is desirable.

· Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and standards, including FDA and MHRA guidelines, GDPR, and information security principles.

· Proficiency in programming languages, database technologies, and web development tools relevant to business requirements.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and system reliability.
