Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements
• Design and implement data models, DAX calculations, and KPIs
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple data sources
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy
• Create interactive visualizations and drill-down reports
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.)
• Schedule data refreshes and manage Power BI Service
• Troubleshoot and resolve data/reporting issues
• Follow best practices in data governance, security, and access control

Additional Responsibilities:

• 25 years of experience in Power BI or related BI tools (adjust based on role)
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS
• Understanding of business domains (Finance, Sales, Healthcare, etc.)
• Experience with large datasets and performance tuning

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Strong experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Experience with data modeling and star schema design
• Good knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with Excel, Azure, or other data platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Azure Data Factory / Synapse / Databricks
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional)
• Certifications like:Microsoft Certified: PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst)
• Experience in an Agile environment
