IT Desktop Technician

SUMMARY: The Desktop Technician provides elevated end-user support for workstation hardware, software, and peripherals. This role is responsible for maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting desktop environments while supporting IT Asset Management with accurate tracking and documentation of devices. The Desktop Technician ensures consistent delivery of reliable computing environments and contributes to efficient user operations across the organization. The position is in the office.

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of desktop support or technical support experience. Strong understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and workstation hardware. Ability to troubleshoot common desktop, application, and hardware issues effectively.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. Experience with enterprise imaging or deployment tools (Intune, MECM/SCCM, MDT). Familiarity with IT Asset Management practices and inventory control.

OTHER: Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.

LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: CompTIA A +, Network +

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Preferred: Associates - Information Technology
