About the role

Pacific Cross Health Insurance Public Company Limited is seeking an experienced IT Development professional to join our growing technology team in Sathon, Bangkok. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust software applications and systems that directly impact our customers and internal business processes.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing software applications and systems using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product managers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
• Testing and debugging applications to identify and resolve defects and performance issues
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security
• Contributing to technical documentation and supporting the continuous improvement of development processes

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Proven experience as a software developer or programmer with a minimum of 2 in a professional development environment

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript and PHP

• Experience with relational databases and SQL

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Hub or Git Lab

• Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Experience in the healthcare or insurance sector would be an advantage
