IT Development Professional (digital banking platform)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end software implementation for the Bank's digital banking development.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality features for our hybrid mobile applications (iOS/Android) and responsive online banking platform.
• Build and maintain custom functionality, integrations, and solution components using approved development tools, APIs, and SDKs.
• Translate business requirements, user stories, and customer journey maps into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between the digital banking platform, core banking systems, authentication tools, third-party providers, and other connected systems.
• Write well-structured, thoroughly tested, readable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge across the team.
• Ensure all development work aligns with security, compliance, accessibility (e.g., WCAG), and reliability expectations for a regulated banking environment.
• Apply modern mobile security practices and ensure apps meet security, compliance, and privacy requirements.
• Ensure seamless collaboration between cross-border teams and external developers to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget.
• Project Implementation: Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk mitigation, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Development Lifecycle: Involved in end-to-end execution of software projects, ensuring compliance with HKMA regulations.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Align Shenzhen's development output with Hong Kong-based business and technology teams to prioritize requirements, resolve blockers, and ensure seamless delivery.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, project delivery, vendor management experience is preferred.
• Expertise in software implementation methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and risk controls.
• Hands-on experience in both Vue3 frontend and Spring Boot backend developments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge on UX/UI design is highly preferred.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, with exceptional stakeholder communication skills.

Candidate with more experience will be considered as a senior position.
