IT Director

Role Description The IT Director at El Chico de las Prácticas will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure. This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a balanced combination of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading IT operations, managing enterprise systems, and ensuring network reliability and security. The IT Director will define IT strategy aligned with business goals, manage vendor relationships, oversee budgets, and drive technology-related projects and improvements. The role also involves establishing policies, mentoring IT team members, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and providing guidance on digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in IT Management and IT Operations, with experience overseeing enterprise-wide technology environments.
• Deep knowledge of Information Technology fundamentals and infrastructure, including systems, networks, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in Network Security practices, risk management, and implementation of security controls and monitoring.
• Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that supports organizational objectives and future growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are an advantage.
• Experience in leadership roles, with the ability to guide diverse teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage vendors and budgets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Abu Dhabi, managing priorities and delivering results in a part-time schedule.
