IT Documentation Writer

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented IT Documentation Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our IT systems, processes, and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user manuals, quick-start guides, and online help resources for IT applications and systems.
• Collaborate with IT Business Analysts, IT developers and Project Managers to gather technical information and requirements.
• Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Create visual aids such as screenshots, flowcharts, and diagrams to enhance user understanding.
• Ensure all documentation meets organizational style guides and accessibility standards.

About you

• Proficient in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Visio.
• Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, user-friendly language.
• Experience with content versioning and documentation management systems is an added advantage.
• Diploma or higher qualification in any field of study.
