IT Engineer

About the role

This is a comprehensive IT support and systems role encompassing ERP system programming, internal application development, server management, network infrastructure support, software administration, daily IT support, and IT security and data protection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, maintain, and troubleshoot ERP system functions according to business requirements
• Coordinate with users and relevant departments to analyze system requirements and improve ERP processes
• Monitor ERP system performance and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Support ERP data, reports, interfaces, and system integration
• Develop, modify, and maintain internal applications, tools, and software according to company requirements
• Analyze business processes and design solutions to improve work efficiency
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain company servers and related services
• Maintain and support LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure
• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to employees
• Implement and maintain IT security controls, including user access, passwords, antivirus, firewall, and system security

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience in ERP system support, ERP programming, internal system development, or business system improvement is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of Python programming.
4. Basic knowledge of Linux server administration.
5. Experience with company-owned servers, ERP servers, file servers, database servers, NAS, backup systems, or internal IT infrastructure is preferred.
6. Basic knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar systems.
7. Good knowledge of related IT software, tools, and programs used for ERP support, system development, database management, server administration, backup, cybersecurity, remote support, network troubleshooting, and daily office/factory IT operations.
8. Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewall, VPN, CCTV, access control, and IT infrastructure.
9. Very good English communication skills, both speaking and writing.
10. Able to work with users from different departments and explain technical issues clearly and practically.
