An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Engineer to join our Head Office team based in Enfield, Middlesex. The IT Engineer will support the existing first and second-line IT support teams by troubleshooting technical issues, diagnosing faults, and configuring/deploying IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, mobiles and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware assets (PC/Laptop/MAC)
• Install, configure and update operating systems and business applications.
• Configure and maintain cyber security defences, including endpoint antivirus solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity issues.
• Perform data backups (and recovery) to support business continuity.
• Maintain and update computer systems to ensure reliability, security and performance.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and associated security controls.
• Set up and support IT networks at remote site offices.
• Use remote access tools to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.
• Keep up to date with emerging IT technologies and relevant industry developments.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of configurations, procedures and technical solutions.

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:

Desirable Criteria:

• CompTIA + or equivalent networking qualification.
• ITIL Foundation
• Minimum 2 years experience

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Documentation authoring proficiency
• Attention to detail and accuracy
