Job summary

DAVENOP Technologies seeks a highly skilled, proactive IT Engineer to join our Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of client and corporate IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, security solutions.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Network Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, DHCP, and bandwidth issues.
• Implement network security policies and access controls.
• Prepare network documentation and topology diagrams.

Server Administration:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
• Manage antivirus, firewall, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Perform security assessments and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor system logs and investigate security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

Technical Support & Service Delivery:

• Provide Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 technical support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and security issues.
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, CCTV systems, biometric solutions, and collaboration platforms.
• Escalate critical incidents where necessary.
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets in accordance with SLAs.

Project Implementation:

• Participate in IT infrastructure deployment projects.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
• Support implementation of Microsoft 365, networking, security, and surveillance solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and project completion documentation.
• Provide user training where required.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Prepare incident reports and root-cause analyses.
• Update asset management and inventory records.
• Submit weekly and monthly technical performance reports.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• A minimum of an HND in a related field
