Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on technical activities, good Networking and server management knowledge, outstanding problem-solving and communication skills maintaining relationships with clients.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers is a significant part of this IT Rep role.
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Knowledge and hands-on configuration of Active Directory
• Hands-on experience with Kyocera and HP printing machines, both hardware and software
• Good understanding of computer systems
• Good knowledge/ hands on CCTV surveillance systems
• Good knowledge/ familiarity with Cisco, Sophos and Microsoft 365
• Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
• Install and configure computer systems
• Carry out Network installation from Layer 1 to at least Layer 3
• Monitor logged tickets and identify potential issues proactively
• Maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct product or service presentations to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits.
• Prepare regular technical reports for team Supervisor review and meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of Degree
• 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
