IT Executive

About the role

Responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to all users and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. The role covers support for the Hospital Information System (HIS), PACS and other hospital applications, computer hardware and software, basic network and infrastructure troubleshooting, IT equipment, and other IT operational matters. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot IT-related issues, provide support to users, coordinate with consultants and vendors when required, and work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second level technical support to users for HIS and other IT applications
• Assist users with HIS and application-related issues, including login, access, workflow, and basic troubleshooting
• Check and identify the cause of reported HIS and application issues before escalating to the relevant consultant or vendor
• Discuss and coordinate with HIS consultants and support vendors to resolve reported issues
• Follow up on outstanding HIS and application issues until resolution
• Provide day to day technical support to all users
• Setup computers for new joiners, including joining computer to domain and basic AD support
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues onsite to identify the cause
• Perform basic troubleshooting for network, internet, and other IT infrastructure-related issues
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with users and relevant parties

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Information & Communication Technology
• At least 3 years' experience in the field of ICT
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A self-starter with initiative and an ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and networking
• Able to interact with people at all levels
