IT EXECUTIVE

About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining the hotel's IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology equipment. You will provide technical support across all hotel departments and systems, ensure network stability, manage IT procurement and vendor relationships, and maintain comprehensive IT documentation and security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the hotel's IT systems, network infrastructure, servers, work-stations, and other technology equipment
• Provide technical support for hotel applications and systems, including PMS, POS, payment systems, guest Wi-Fi, telephone systems, emails, door lock systems, and TV systems
• Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and other network infrastructure
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, POS terminals, telephones, projectors, CCTV equipment, door lock systems, and other IT equipment
• Assist with IT procurement activities, including Purchase Requisitions, quotations, approvals, purchasing, delivery, installation, and deployment
• Liaise with external IT vendors, service providers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate technical support, maintenance, repairs, and service visits
• Ensure all IT-related activities, purchases, issues, projects, and follow-ups are properly documented and regularly updated
• Assist in maintaining IT security, antivirus/EDR, user access, passwords, system permissions, and network security
• Monitor and perform regular checks on backup systems and ensure critical data is protected
• Provide technical support to hotel employees and assist with guest-related IT issues when required

About you

• Ability to monitor and maintain IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology equipment
• Technical support capability for hotel applications and systems
• Experience with network infrastructure management including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT hardware and software
• Experience with IT procurement processes and vendor management
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of IT security, antivirus/EDR, user access management, and network security
• Ability to respond to IT incidents professionally and within required response times
