About the Role

We are looking for an IT & Facilities Support Specialist to join our team in Tetouan, Morocco.

This is a fully on-site position combining IT support, facilities coordination, workplace technology, and basic programming/software support. The role is best suited for someone who is hands-on, organized, responsive, technically curious, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day technology and office-related needs in a growing business environment.

The ideal candidate can troubleshoot technology, support employees, coordinate office and facility needs, work with external vendors, and use basic programming or scripting to automate tasks and improve internal processes.

Responsibilities

IT Support

  • Provide first-line and second-line technical support to employees in Tetouan, the U.S. headquarters, and remote locations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, printer, connectivity, and user-access issues.
  • Set up and configure computers, monitors, peripherals, phones, and other IT equipment.
  • Prepare and provision laptops and workstations for new employees.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
  • Assist employees remotely through phone, chat, remote-support tools, and other methods.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and devices.
  • Document IT issues, solutions, procedures, and recurring problems.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements.

Workplace Technology & Infrastructure

  • Assist with administration of Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and access according to company policies.
  • Support office networking, Wi-Fi, switches, printers, VPNs, and other infrastructure.
  • Monitor basic system health and identify issues before they affect employees.
  • Assist with backups, endpoint management, software deployment, and system updates.
  • Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with external IT providers, vendors, and technical partners when required.

Facilities & Office Support

  • Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Tetouan office and workplace facilities.
  • Coordinate with building management, landlords, contractors, maintenance providers, internet providers, utilities, and other vendors.
  • Identify and report facility maintenance issues and follow through until resolution.
  • Assist with office setup, workstation layouts, equipment installations, moves, and employee seating arrangements.
  • Help maintain office equipment, access systems, meeting rooms, conference-room technology, and other workplace infrastructure.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, installations, and service visits.
  • Maintain records of facility-related equipment, service providers, maintenance activities, and warranties.
  • Assist with office safety, security, access control, and physical workplace requirements.
  • Help ensure the office remains functional, organized, secure, and properly equipped for employees.
  • Support office moves, expansions, renovations, and other facilities-related projects.

Programming, Automation & Technical Improvements

  • Use basic programming and scripting to automate repetitive IT and business tasks.
  • Develop and maintain simple scripts, utilities, reports, and internal tools as needed.
  • Automate tasks related to user administration, reporting, device management, data processing, or IT operations where appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot basic application and script issues.
  • Work with APIs and integrations when required for internal tools or business applications.
  • Assist with developing or maintaining small internal applications and automation workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology.
  • Follow company security and development practices when creating scripts, tools, or automations.
  • Document internally developed tools, scripts, and procedures.

Security & Compliance Support

  • Follow company security policies and procedures related to our environment.
  • Work with our external MSSP on cybersecurity and CMMC Level 2 requirements.
  • Escalate security incidents, suspicious activity, access issues, and other concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist with endpoint security, MFA, access controls, patching, and device compliance.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation needed for security and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure IT processes follow established security policies rather than creating workarounds that could introduce risk.
  • Apply appropriate security practices when developing scripts, automations, or internal tools.

U.S. Team Support

  • Provide technical support to employees in the United States and remote employees.
  • Communicate with U.S.-based management and employees regarding technical issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and IT projects across both the Tetouan and U.S. operations.
  • Communicate clearly with U.S.-based teams regarding technical, facilities, and operational issues.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, technical support, systems administration, workplace technology, facilities technology, or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of Windows computers and common business software.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and user-access issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and user/account administration.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Comfortable installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers and peripherals.
  • Basic to intermediate programming or scripting knowledge.
  • Ability to write, understand, modify, and troubleshoot scripts or simple programs.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, or similar.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate facilities, maintenance, and vendor-related issues.
  • Working English proficiency — you will regularly communicate with U.S.-based employees and management.
  • Professional communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to work fully on-site in Tetouan.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Entra ID.
  • Experience with endpoint management or MDM solutions.
  • Familiarity with EDR/antivirus and other endpoint security tools.
  • Experience working with an MSP or MSSP.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, or automation tools.
  • Experience developing internal tools, scripts, dashboards, or workflow automations.
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting office infrastructure, facilities, access control, or workplace technology.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance providers, landlords, or other facilities vendors.
  • Experience working in a regulated, security-conscious, or compliance-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar security frameworks is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, programming, facilities, or similar certifications are a plus.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, technically capable, and willing to take ownership.

This is a broad role. The right person should be comfortable moving between troubleshooting an employee's laptop, resolving a network issue, setting up a new workstation, coordinating an office repair, working with a vendor, writing a small automation script, and documenting the solution.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Enjoys solving technical problems.
  • Is patient and professional when helping non-technical employees.
  • Takes security seriously.
  • Is comfortable supporting both local and remote users.
  • Can communicate effectively in English with U.S.-based colleagues.
  • Has an interest in programming, automation, and improving processes.
  • Can troubleshoot problems independently and knows when to escalate.
  • Is comfortable working with both technology and physical workplace issues.
  • Doesn't wait to be told about every problem and can take initiative.
  • Is organized and keeps good records.
  • Takes ownership of tasks from start to completion.
  • Wants to grow with the company.

Working Environment

This position is 100% on-site at our Tetouan office.

The role will interact regularly with:

  • The Tetouan operations team.
  • Employees at our U.S. headquarters.
  • Remote employees.
  • Company management.
  • External IT and security vendors.
  • Our MSSP.
  • Building management, contractors, maintenance providers, and other facilities vendors.

English is required, but the position does not require native-level English. The candidate should be comfortable reading technical documentation, communicating with U.S.-based employees, and discussing IT, facilities, and technical issues in English.
