IT _ Finance System

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical support for finance applications, ERP systems, and related financial platforms.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Support finance system implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, and system enhancements.
• Analyze and resolve system issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and minimal business disruption.
• Manage system configurations, workflows, user access, roles, and permissions in line with IT governance and security policies.
• Support integrations between finance systems and other business applications, including HR, procurement, payroll, banking, and reporting platforms.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, system testing, and release management.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation, system optimization, and digital solutions.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, process flows, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and internal IT teams for system support and enhancements.
• Ensure systems comply with internal controls, audit requirements, information security standards, and relevant financial governance policies.
• Support financial reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and management information requirements.
• Provide user training and guidance to Finance teams on system functionality and new enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or recurring issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, ERP, finance applications, or business applications support.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with ERP/Finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar systems.
• Experience in system integration, troubleshooting, UAT, implementation, and application support.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across both IT and Finance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
