IT Governance Analyst

About the role

An IT Governance Analyst aids and supports the implementation and monitoring of IT governance frameworks, policies, and processes. The role ensures that IT resources, projects, and operations comply with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of IT governance strategies and drive improvements.
• Lead collaboration and discussion to close major governance tasks on time.
• Aid in monitoring service performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize service delivery.
• Help in the continuous improvement initiatives and formulation of plans to avoid infraction and risks.
• Aid in improving governance strategies and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency of service and performance.
• Track and analyze performance/compliance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Aid in the continuous improvement by developing procedures, guidelines, and maintaining knowledge documentation.
• Lead compliance programs and manage regulatory interactions.
• Assist in the engagement with executives, auditors, and regulators.
• Lead IT audits activities, ensure findings are addressed, and report to senior management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools (e.g., RSA Archer, ServiceNow).
• Certification with ITIL is a plus!
• At least 3-5 years experience in IT operations, governance, or service management.
