What Responsibilities IT Governance Specialist Takes?

• Lead IT risk assessments and governance activities aligned with COBIT, NIST, and SPK regulations.
• Design, improve, and maintain IT governance processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Oversee IT asset and supplier risk evaluations and manage overall IT risk profiles.
• Drive process analysis and improvement initiatives with process owners across the organization.
• Coordinate internal and external IT audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely remediation.
• Track and close audit findings, ensuring sustainable control improvements.
• Provide expert guidance on IT governance standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.

What BtcTurk | Teknoloji Expects from You?

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in IT governance, IT risk management, or IT audit.
• Proven experience in designing and managing governance documentation (policies, procedures, processes, instructions) at an organizational scale.
• Strong command of governance frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (SPK, TUBITAK).
• Advanced skills in project management, analytical thinking, and reporting.
• High discipline in documentation, problem-solving, and cross-team task coordination.
• Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions in complex environments.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English.
