IT Hardware Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IP CCTV Cameras and Surveillance Systems, IP Phones, IP PBX, EPABX systems, Wi-Fi Access Points and Network Switches, Audio-Visual Equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones and related equipment, Access Control Machines, Gate Motors, Boom Barriers and Automation Systems.
• Perform basic networking tasks including IP addressing, LAN cabling, switch configuration and network troubleshooting.
• Visit customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and service support.
• Coordinate with project/sales teams and customers to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain proper installation reports, service reports and daily field activity reports.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective on-site solutions.
• Ensure proper handling, installation and testing of equipment as per company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Travel to different nearby cities and locations as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Freshers, ITI, Diploma or Graduate in IT, Electronics, Electrical, Networking or a related field will be preferred.

• Qualification and technical experience will be considered.
• Prior experience in installation/service of CCTV, networking, IP PBX/EPABX, AV equipment, Wi-Fi, switches or automation systems will be highly preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of LAN networking, RJ45 termination, IP configuration and basic troubleshooting.
• Should be comfortable working at customer sites and performing hands-on installation work.
• Must have a personal two-wheeler and valid driving licence.
• Should be willing to travel nearby.
• Good communication skills and professional behaviour with customers.
• Should be hardworking, responsible, punctual and willing to learn new technologies.
