Job Overview

We are looking for a Helpdesk Executive to monitor and support our Video Management System (VMS) infrastructure. This role is ideal for freshers who have a basic understanding of networking and are interested in surveillance systems and technical support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the Video Management System (VMS) to ensure uninterrupted surveillance operations
• Track camera status (online/offline) in real-time
• Perform basic troubleshooting related to network, power, and connectivity issues
• Identify and resolve non-functional or inactive cameras
• Prepare and maintain daily reports on system performance and downtime
• Coordinate with field teams for on-site issue resolution
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams (L2/L3)
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of networking (IP, connectivity, switches)
• Understanding of CCTV / VMS systems (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reports, tracking, formulas)
• Willingness to work in shifts

Education

• BCA, B. Sc, or M. Sc, MCA (IT / Electronics / related field)
