UCT is looking for a talented **Engineer III – IT Infra Network Security Engineer (Firewalls)**to join us in Cebu!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support global Palo Alto firewall ecosystem across on-premises and

cloud environments

• Administer Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall management. Implement,

modify, validate, and document firewall security policies.

• Support GlobalProtect remote access, VPN configurations, and secure connectivity

services

• Analyze traffic logs, threat logs, and system events to identify issues or security

concerns

• Support NAT policy implementation, updates, and troubleshooting

• Ensure all firewall changes follow governance, naming, logging, and documentation

standards

• Partner with Network Engineering on routing, SD-WAN, VLAN, and connectivity

dependencies

• Identify opportunities to improve firewall operations through automation and

standardization

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and security policies

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), NAT, VPNs, and segmentation

• Familiarity with App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, SSL decryption, and threat prevention

• Demonstrated experience with packet capture analysis, log analysis, and traffic flow

troubleshooting

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset

• Clear written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical

audiences

• Works effectively with cross-functional teams including Security, Infrastructure, and

Cloud

• Strong discipline around change control, documentation, and policy accuracy

• Adaptability in dynamic environments

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• 3–5 years of experience in network security, firewall engineering, or network

engineering roles

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Palo Alto PCNSE, CCNP Security certifications preferred
