About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to help operate, maintain, and secure the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role will provide day-to-day support across network environments, servers, cloud resources, endpoints, access management, and infrastructure security.
The successful candidate should be comfortable diagnosing technical issues, managing Linux and Windows environments, supporting AWS infrastructure, and resolving connectivity and system-related incidents. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal technical teams and external service providers.
This is a hybrid position with occasional onsite support for critical infrastructure activities, including audits, hardware concerns, network work, and other urgent technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
- Administer Linux and Windows servers, including system configurations, services, patches, storage, logs, and basic automation scripts.
- Investigate recurring technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and recommend measures to prevent repeat incidents.
- Manage system accounts, permissions, access rights, and identity-related configurations.

- Maintain system availability, reliability, and operational performance across assigned infrastructure.
Network Administration
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network components such as switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and VPN connections.
- Support LAN, VLAN, routing, and other network connectivity requirements.
- Maintain core network services including DNS, DHCP, NAT, and IP addressing.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues between users, on-premises infrastructure, remote environments, and cloud services.
- Coordinate with internet service providers, vendors, and other technical teams when resolving network-related incidents.
Cloud & AWS Operations
- Administer and support assigned AWS environments, including EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, VPC, subnets, security groups, and routing configurations.
- Monitor cloud resources, system performance, logs, alerts, backups, snapshots, and recovery activities.
- Assist with AWS access management, security configurations, resource tagging, and infrastructure hygiene.
- Support basic cloud cost monitoring and optimization initiatives.
- Help maintain reliable connectivity between on-premises systems and AWS environments.
Security & Compliance
- Monitor infrastructure and security alerts and assist in investigating potential security incidents.
- Support vulnerability remediation, system hardening, patch management, and secure configuration activities.
- Assist with identity and access controls, endpoint protection, and security compliance requirements.
- Participate in audit preparation, data protection, privacy, and information security initiatives.
- Escalate security or infrastructure incidents based on their severity and business impact.
Backup, Recovery & Documentation
- Assist with backup monitoring and validation, redundancy checks, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation covering infrastructure configurations, network diagrams, incidents, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Follow established change, release, and configuration management processes when implementing infrastructure changes.
- Keep technical records current and ensure operational procedures are properly documented.
Support & Collaboration
- Work with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Provide secondary support across another infrastructure area when the primary technical owner is unavailable.
- Communicate incident status, risks, blockers, and resolution progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide onsite technical assistance when required for critical infrastructure activities.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support for urgent infrastructure concerns.
