About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network professional to join our team at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited in the Sathorn area of Bangkok. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure and network systems to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Bank’s IT infrastructure environment, including servers, networks, virtualization platforms, cloud services, Microsoft 365, backup, and endpoint solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security to ensure reliable and resilient operations.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability management, patch management, access control reviews, and security compliance activities.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BCP) activities to ensure operational readiness.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, cloud adoption initiatives, technology upgrades, and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, operational procedures, and audit evidence in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure service quality, issue resolution, and successful project delivery.

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Administration, or System Administration.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Windows/Linux Server, Network, Virtualization, Cloud, Microsoft 365, Security, and Backup Solutions.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure Operations, Incident Management, Change Management, Disaster Recovery, Cybersecurity Controls, and Vulnerability Management.
• Experience with IT management frameworks and standards (e.g. ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001)
• Strong troubleshooting, vendor management, and communication skills with good command of English (spoken and written).
