IT Infrastructure & Services Engineer

Dockweiler Asia Co., Ltd., our subsidiary in Thailand, has been a registered BOI-company and a vital part of the Dockweiler AG group since 2012. Serving as a professional manufacturing site with ISO 9001 and ASME BPE certifications, it acts as the Sales and Manufacturing hub for the APAC region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·     Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot core IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, firewalls, and endpoint devices.

·     Oversee availability, performance, and security of on‑premise and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft 365, VMware).

·     Perform system monitoring, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation.

·     Provide technical support for critical incidents, complex issues, and root cause analysis.

·     Ensure timely resolution of IT service requests and incidents in accordance with SLA and business requirements.

·     Coordinate with global/regional IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve escalated issues.

·     Document support processes, technical knowledge base articles, and best practices.

·     Support IT systems and infrastructure used in manufacturing environments (e.g., production line PCs, industrial networks, MES, SCADA, ERP integrations).

·     Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure IT compliance and smooth operation of manufacturing systems.

·     Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit requirements, and manufacturing industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

·     Other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Support, or Service roles.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Familiarity with manufacturing/industrial systems such as MES, ERP interfaces, or IT networks is a plus.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, patching procedures, and security hardening.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under time pressure.
• Good communication skills with the ability to support users at all levels, including production staff and leadership.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a service‑focused attitude.
• Thai language proficiency is mandatory.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Thailand without company sponsorship.
