IT Infrastructure Consultant

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure consultant to help keep our IT environment secure, reliable, and well maintained. This is a hands-on, part-time engagement of 1–2 days per week, with weekly on-site time at our Sandy Springs, GA office. Candidates must be located in the Atlanta metro area.

What You’ll Do

• Administer our Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, DNS, and Hyper-V virtualization
• Maintain our network, including SonicWall firewalls, Cisco switches, and VPN access
• Manage Synology NAS storage and make sure backups run reliably
• Keep systems patched, secured, and documented
• Support our development infrastructure, including Jenkins builds, certificates and code signing, and Windows installers
• Troubleshoot issues as they come up and automate repetitive tasks where you can

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience
• Solid networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
• Experience with Hyper-V and Linux administration, including shell scripting
• Experience with backup and storage systems
• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently

Experience With

• Synology, SonicWall, Cisco, Jenkins, OpenSSL/code signing, Inno Setup, Docker
• Experience supporting a software development team

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sandy Spgs, GA 30328
