What is this role about?

The IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager will be a strong delivery leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery and governance of global infrastructure services across onshore, offshore, and service provider teams. The role will ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective operations while driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will effectively bridge business and technology teams, govern strategic relationships, and drive infrastructure modernization programs while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and business outcomes.

Position Title: IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Location: Palo Alto, CA (3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day delivery of Infrastructure Operations, including:

• Server Administration (Windows/Linux)
• Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Network Operations
• Storage & Backup
• Database Infrastructure
• End User Computing (EUC) and Workplace Services
• Service Desk Operations

Manage distributed onshore and offshore teams, ensuring:

• SLA/KPI compliance
• Service quality and operational efficiency
• Resource planning and capacity management

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and service providers.
• Manage strategic vendor and managed service provider relationships.

Governance

• Conduct service reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Drive performance management
• Manage escalations and service governance activities

IT Service Management

• Drive Incident, Problem, Change, and Risk Management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Lead major incident resolution and stakeholder communications.

Reporting & Metrics

Develop operational dashboards and executive reporting covering:

• Availability
• SLA performance
• Service health
• Capacity and utilization
• Continuous improvement initiatives

Continuous Service Improvement

• Drive CSI initiatives
• Lead Automation and AIOps adoption programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing global onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
• AWS
• Windows and Linux platforms
• Networking and Security
• Storage and Backup technologies
• Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms
• ServiceNow
• Experience managing managed service providers and vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in highly regulated environments such as Healthcare or Pharmaceutical organizations.
• Exposure to infrastructure modernization, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.
