IT Infrastructure Engineer

A global agribusiness powerhouse seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to keep its enterprise technology environment available, secure, and resilient.

Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure, you'll run the full infrastructure stack (servers, identity, virtualization, cloud, backup) across a hybrid, multi-region environment. The role balances daily administration with proactive risk reduction, partnering with security, application, and vendor teams to keep systems stable and audit-ready.

• Administer Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Own Azure and AWS services, including access controls, cost governance, and hybrid integration
• Drive security hardening, privileged access, and vulnerability remediation with cybersecurity and SOC teams
• Administer enterprise backup and restore, validating recovery readiness for DR and BCP exercises
• Troubleshoot complex issues, lead root cause analysis, and join on-call major incident response
• Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Manage vendors and MSPs against agreed service outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years in system administration or infrastructure operations
• Hands-on Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and Azure/AWS experience
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience within ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem management
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Bonus Points: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator, VMware VCP, ITIL Foundation, or CompTIA Security+
