IT Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Basis Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SAP S/4HANA landscapes across development, test, and production environments.

• Perform SAP Basis activities, including upgrades, patches, system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.

• Monitor system performance, availability, database health, and overall SAP operations.

• Support SAP HANA administration, backup/recovery, and performance optimization.

• Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and security controls.

• Handle incident, problem, change, and release management activities.

• Coordinate patching, compliance, audit, and vulnerability remediation efforts.

• Support disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any IT-related or Engineering course.

• 5 years of working experience in SAP Basis/System Administration.

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA database management, system maintenance, and refresh activities.

• Skilled in SAP Transport Management, user/role administration, databases, backup/recovery, networking, and cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP security and IT compliance practices.

• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes, ISO 27001, and service management processes.

• Experience in system administration, design, and planning is an advantage.

• Experience supporting SAP environments within shared services, energy, utilities, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
