IT Infrastructure Executive

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Dong Mart is a fast-growing fixed-price retail chain in Vietnam offering more than 10,000 everyday products across multiple categories. Established in 2024, the company operates in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail sector, serving local communities with convenient and affordable shopping. Its stores provide a wide range of essentials, including food, personal care items, household goods, stationery, toys, and seasonal products.

Dong Mart focuses on building a retail network in easily accessible residential locations and plans to expand to more than 80 stores nationwide by 2026.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

1. End-User Support

• Provide technical support for users at Head Office, Warehouse, and Retail Stores.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: PCs and laptops, Printers and scanners, POS terminals, Mobile devices, Microsoft 365 applications, Network connectivity.
• Respond to incidents and service requests according to established SLA.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

2. Infrastructure Support

• Support daily operation of: LAN/WAN networks, Internet connections, Wi-Fi infrastructure, VPN connectivity, Windows servers, Network equipment.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and report abnormalities.
• Assist with routine maintenance and upgrades.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of network and infrastructure issues.

3. Store IT Support

• Provide remote and onsite support for retail stores.
• Configure and maintain: POS terminals, Receipt printers, Barcode scanners, Payment devices, Network equipment.
• Coordinate with store personnel to resolve IT-related issues quickly.
• Ensure minimal disruption to store operations.

4. New Store Deployment

• Assist in setting up IT infrastructure for new stores.
• Install and configure: PCs and laptops, POS systems, Network devices, Printers and peripherals, Internet and Wi-Fi services.
• Participate in user acceptance testing before store opening.
• Ensure all IT equipment is operational before the store launch date

5. IT Asset Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets.
• Support inventory tracking for: Laptops, PCs, POS devices, Network equipment, Peripheral devices.
• Assist in hardware deployment, replacement, and disposal activities.
• Conduct periodic asset audits.

6. System Administration Support

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration tasks.
• Assist with endpoint security deployment.
• Support backup verification and basic disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain IT documentation and system records.

7. Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers and external vendors when required.
• Follow up on service requests and maintenance activities.
• Report vendor performance issues to the Infrastructure Team Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or Related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure (Experience supporting retail stores/ multiple sites and POS support is preferred).
• Technical skills required: Windows 10/11 administration, PC and laptop troubleshooting, Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi), Microsoft 365 support, Printer and peripheral support, Basic Windows Server knowledge, Active Directory administration, and Hardware installation and maintenance.
• Technical skills p referred: Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, or similar technologies, Endpoint management tools, POS system support, Basic virtualization knowledge (VMware or Hyper-V), IT asset management systems.
• Soft Skills: Customer-oriented mindset, Good communication skills, Problem-solving ability, Teamwork and collaboration, Willingness to learn new technologies, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Good time management and prioritization skills.
• May require travel to retail stores and warehouse locations.
