Role & responsibilities

The Lead Analyst - Digital & AI Transformation will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering IMGC's next-generation digital operating model by reimagining and enabling AI-driven operational journeys across the mortgage guarantee lifecycle. This includes the design, optimization, and implementation of digital journeys spanning home loan underwriting, guarantee issuance, policy servicing, claims management, and associated partner interactions.

The role will be responsible for translating business objectives into scalable digital and AI-enabled solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk assessment capabilities, and support regulatory compliance. The individual will work closely with business, technology, data, operations, and external ecosystem partners to drive digital transformation initiatives from concept to execution.

Key responsibilities include defining end-to-end digital workflows, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and AI adoption, and ensuring seamless integration between IMGC platforms and third-party Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), credit bureaus, underwriting engines, and other ecosystem applications through well-defined API-based integrations.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of digital architecture principles and API specifications, enabling effective collaboration with technology teams and external partners to deliver frictionless, scalable integrations. The individual should also have a working knowledge of critical non-functional requirements, including system performance, resiliency, observability, scalability, security, and operational monitoring.

The role requires hands-on experience in delivering AI and data-driven transformation initiatives within financial services, particularly in areas such as:

• AI-assisted underwriting and risk assessment
• Intelligent document processing, OCR, and data extraction
• Rule-based decisioning and automated eligibility assessment
• Workflow automation and process orchestration
• Predictive analytics and operational intelligence

The Lead Analyst will be responsible for managing transformation initiatives end-to-end, defining success metrics, monitoring business outcomes, driving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring successful user adoption. The position also involves regular engagement with senior leadership to communicate transformation roadmaps, implementation progress, business benefits, and strategic recommendations for future digital and AI investments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in banking, housing finance, mortgage, insurance, fintech, or related financial services domains.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing digital underwriting, servicing, claims, or decision-management solutions.
• Strong understanding of API-led integration architectures and ecosystem connectivity.
• Experience working with AI/ML solutions, intelligent document processing platforms, rule engines, decision management frameworks, and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, digital product development methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
