IT Intern – Systems, Applications & Support

Pick Network Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of IMDA, deploys and operates Singapore’s nationwide parcel locker network, enhancing convenience for consumers and businesses while transforming urban logistics.

Job Summary

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting business systems, smart locker operations, IT support, application testing, cybersecurity, and digital learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

Document, review, and analyse existing business processes and internal systems to improve knowledge sharing, operational efficiency, and process effectiveness.

Support the migration and deployment of a nationwide network of more than 1,000 smart locker stations, including system configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities.

Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems by investigating reported issues, resolving bugs, and providing timely support through the company’s ticketing system.

Participate in application and system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solution quality, reliability, and business readiness.

Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, system records, and reports for various applications and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.

Provide end-user IT support for laptops, hardware, software, and office productivity applications, including support for employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

Assist in the development and maintenance of e-learning content and training courses to support regulatory compliance, internal processes, and employee development initiatives.

Support IT infrastructure, application rollouts, system enhancements, and other technology-related projects as assigned by the team.

Support cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability management activities in collaboration with vendors and developers, including coordinating security scans, tracking findings, monitoring remediation progress, and following up on outstanding issues.

Requirements

Able to commit to a full-time internship for the entire internship period.

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Basic understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and software applications.

Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies, IT support processes, or service desk operations would be advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users and stakeholders at different levels.

Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced working environment.

Good organisational, documentation, and time-management skills.

Pick Network Pte Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to deploy parcel locker in public spaces and operate the nationwide parcel locker network. The network will deliver convenience and choice to consumers and businesses and aid in the transformation of Singapore's urban logistics ecosystem.
