🔹 About the Role

We are looking for a skilled IT/IS Audit professional with experience in technology risk, information security, and internal audits, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. The candidate will be responsible for assessing IT controls, identifying technology and cybersecurity risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and recommending improvements in line with applicable RBI guidelines.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

▪️ Conduct risk-based IT/IS audits to evaluate technology processes, internal controls, and cybersecurity frameworks.

▪️ Review IT General Controls (ITGC), Identity and Access Management (IAM/PAM), SOC/SIEM, VAPT, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and application controls.

▪️ Assess Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Change Management, and related IT processes.

▪️ Evaluate compliance with RBI IT and Cybersecurity guidelines and the CSITE framework, as applicable.

▪️ Identify control gaps, assess risks, and prepare clear audit observations with practical recommendations.

▪️ Independently manage audit assignments, including planning, execution, documentation, reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.

▪️ Coordinate with Technology, Information Security, Risk, and Business teams to discuss audit findings and ensure timely remediation.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

▪️ 3–5 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, IS Audit, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, or Technology Risk.

▪️ Prior experience in Banking, Payments Banks, or Small Finance Banks is preferred.

▪️ Strong understanding of RBI IT and Cybersecurity guidelines and the CSITE framework.

▪️ Hands-on exposure to ITGC, IAM/PAM, SOC/SIEM, VAPT, WAF, DR/BCP, Change Management, and Application Controls.

▪️ Experience in executing IT/IS audits, identifying control deficiencies, and drafting audit observations.

▪️ Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

▪️ Ability to independently handle audit activities and work with cross-functional teams.

🔹 Must-Have Criteria

Prior Internal Audit / IS Audit / Cybersecurity experience with strong exposure to banking technology controls and regulatory compliance.
