IT Lab Engineer - Pharma

armaceutical or biotechnology industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting laboratory IT systems, applications, equipment, and infrastructure in both GxP and Non-GxP environments.

The candidate should understand pharmaceutical compliance requirements, laboratory operations, troubleshooting, incident management, and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for laboratory systems, applications, equipment, and infrastructure in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
• Support laboratory operations in both GxP and Non-GxP environments while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and laboratory system issues.
• Support laboratory applications and equipment such as LIMS, Empower, chromatography systems, and other lab-related tools.
• Assist with system validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), as applicable.
• Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, validation documents, and other compliance-related records.
• Follow change control, incident management, deviation management, and CAPA processes as required.
• Support user access management, system configuration, software upgrades, and patching activities.
• Collaborate with laboratory scientists, QA, QC, validation, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure laboratory systems remain operational, compliant, and available to support business operations.
• Participate in audits and provide technical documentation and evidence when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or clinical laboratory industry.
• Hands-on experience with GxP and Non-GxP laboratory IT environments.
• Understanding of GMP, GLP, data integrity, and applicable regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting laboratory applications, instruments, computers, and IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of LIMS, ELN, CDS, or other laboratory systems is preferred.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
