Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the in-house full-stack development team.
- Translate business requirements into practical IT plans and projects.
- Prioritize projects based on business impact, urgency, risk, and team capacity.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.

- Work with senior developers on architecture, technical standards, documentation, and code quality.
- Manage infrastructure service providers covering servers, cloud, networks, firewall, backup, monitoring, and endpoint support.
- Monitor system availability, security risks, vendor performance, and service levels.
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are regularly tested.
- Coordinate major incidents, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Manage IT budgets, software licences, vendor contracts, and technology investments.
- Provide regular project, operational, budget, and risk updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant IT experience, including 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience managing software developers and delivering business applications or custom-developed systems.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile or hybrid delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and production support.
- Sufficient knowledge of application architecture, APIs, databases, and system integration to evaluate solutions and technical risks.
- Practical understanding of cloud platforms, servers, networks, VPN/firewalls, backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing external IT vendors or managed service providers.
- Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate technical matters clearly to management and business users.
Preferred
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience managing internally developed web or enterprise applications.
- Experience with workflow automation or AI-assisted productivity tools.
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendor contracts.
Ideal Candidate
You are a business-oriented technology leader who can control software delivery, develop technical teams, manage vendors, and ensure reliable IT operations. You do not need to perform routine infrastructure administration or write code every day, but you must be able to evaluate risks, challenge technical recommendations, and hold both internal teams and external providers accountable.
