About the role

The IT Manager leads technology strategy and infrastructure management to align IT operations with business goals, drive efficiency and innovation, and support organizational growth. This role oversees robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure including network, hardware, and software systems, while managing POS and e-commerce platforms to ensure data integrity, system uptime, and seamless transactions. The IT Manager implements cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data, ensures compliance with regulations like GDPR and data privacy laws, and provides data-driven insights to support decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of systems
• Maintain and optimize POS and e-commerce platforms to support sales and customer experience
• Ensure data integrity, system uptime, and seamless transactions
• Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data
• Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and data privacy laws
• Oversee data collection and analysis to provide insights into sales, customer behavior, and operational efficiency
• Lead the IT team, fostering skills development and supporting career growth

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a management role
• Proficiency in networking, system architecture, database management, and cybersecurity
• Experience in retail or e-commerce environments
• Familiarity with retail POS systems, e-commerce platforms, inventory and order management software, warehouse management software and ERP systems
• Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
• Cloud Computing certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
