About KAIA

KAIA is a portfolio of luxury outdoor resorts set in beautiful natural landscapes, built around connection to people, place, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Each KAIA destination feels alive, shaped by its surroundings, and defined by local stories and culture. Designed for the modern traveler seeking freedom, authenticity, and exploration, every resort brings together nature, wellness, and human connection in a way that feels both alive and grounding.

KAIA Koh Phangan

Set along the northeastern coastline of Koh Phangan, KAIA’s flagship is a beachfront luxury tented resort where nature, wellness, and shared connection come together through movement, ritual, and dining.

Recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the Most Exciting Hotel Openings of 2026, KAIA Koh Phangan is owned and operated by Bound and Beyond, the team behind Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River and Capella Bangkok, ranked #2 and #3 among the World’s 50 Best Hotels in 2025.

Our People

We are building a team of people who value presence, care, and genuine human connection. At KAIA, hospitality is shaped by how people make others feel through collaboration, intention, and shared experiences rooted in nature, wellness, and community.

Whether behind the scenes or guest facing, every role contributes to creating an environment that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and connected to its surroundings.

We’re looking for people who are excited to help build something intentional, contribute ideas, and grow with us from the ground up.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on and solutions-oriented IT Manager to lead the technology function throughout its pre-opening journey and ongoing resort operations. You will play a critical role in overseeing infrastructure, hospitality systems, cybersecurity, vendor management, and user support. You will work closely with resort leadership, Corporate Services, to ensure all systems are secure, reliable, fully integrated, and ready to support an exceptional guest and employee experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening

  • Lead the resort's IT pre-opening plan, implementation timeline, testing, training, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate installation and commissioning of network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, telecommunications, servers, and related systems.
  • Manage the implementation and integration of hospitality platforms, including PMS, POS, Finance, CRM, Channel Manager, Booking Engine, Inventory, and other operational systems.
  • Coordinate system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and departmental sign-off.
  • Oversee IT asset procurement, deployment, tagging, and inventory management.
  • Establish cybersecurity controls, backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and implementation partners.
  • Ensure all systems, devices, connectivity, user accounts, and support arrangements are fully operational prior to opening.

Resort Operations

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations and user support across all departments.
  • Ensure system availability, network reliability, security, and performance.
  • Administer system access, permissions, integrations, and change controls.
  • Monitor guest Wi-Fi and technology services to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage cybersecurity, backups, incident response, and business continuity processes.
  • Maintain IT assets, software licences, vendor contracts, and support agreements.
  • Prepare IT reports, risk assessments, project updates, and improvement recommendations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive IT experience, ideally within hospitality, hotels, resorts, or multi-site operations.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory, Assistant Manager, or IT leadership role.
  • Experience independently managing or leading an on-property IT function.
  • Strong experience with network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, cloud services, and user support.
  • Experience implementing or supporting hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, CRS, Channel Manager, Finance, Inventory, CRM, or related platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, access management, backups, disaster recovery, and IT governance.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, technology projects, and system integrations.
  • Pre-opening hotel or resort experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Good command of both Thai and English.
