JOB CONTEXT Q Hotel Dhaka, a concern of Quality Hospitality Limited , is an upcoming premium 5-Star Hotel and Multi-Purpose Office Complex located at Purbachal New Town (adjacent to 300 Feet Road). The property features 152 well-appointed guestrooms, 4 international restaurants, multi-purpose event spaces, an outdoor heated pool, spa, and wellness facilities . Scheduled for full operation by Q4 2026 , the hotel is in its pre-opening phase and seeking an experienced, high-caliber IT Manager to lead its technology environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, and handle all end-to-end IT infrastructure, hardware, and technology operations across the entire hotel property to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
• Plan, deploy, and maintain all core network infrastructure, servers, enterprise Wi-Fi, workstations, telecommunications, CCTV surveillance, and access control systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance, routine system updates, hardware servicing, and technical troubleshooting across all departments to minimize downtime.
• Manage the complete lifecycle—including installation, configuration, software updates, and ongoing servicing—of all hotel operational software.
• Support and maintain specialized hospitality systems across all revenue centers, including Property Management Systems (PMS) for front desk/rooms, Point of Sale (POS) for restaurants and in-room dining/room service, financial systems, online booking engines, and electronic door-lock/key-card applications.
• Ensure all guest-facing and backend software applications integrate seamlessly for front office, F&B, housekeeping, and administration.
• Implement robust IT security protocols, including network firewalls, antivirus management, data backup routines, disaster recovery planning, and user access management.
• Establish and enforce IT security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data protection standards.
• Direct pre-opening IT projects, hardware procurement, software licensing, and system deployment timelines to ensure full operational readiness before launch.
• Manage vendor relationships, coordinate Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and supervise third-party technicians during installation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience: 10-15 years
• Education: bachelor of science in information technology (it)
• Skills: hotel management, hospitality management, hotel operations knowledge, it infrastructure management
