We are seeking a IT Manager to lead ACSI’s technology operations, vendor management, and internal application environment while managing day to day IT hardware and software needs. This role serves as the primary liaison between ACSI and its outsourced IT managed‑services firm while also directly managing the lifecycle, enhancements, and data integrity of ACSI’s proprietary CRM/dashboard platform. The IT Manager ensures that all systems meet regulatory, security, and operational requirements essential to retirement plan administration as well as the day to day internal and external IT needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the outsourced managed‑services IT provider, including performance monitoring, ticket escalation, system updates, IT security oversight and SLA compliance.
  • Manage and enhance ACSI’s proprietary CRM/dashboard, ensuring functionality, data accuracy, workflow optimization, and coordination of development or fixes.
  • Maintain cybersecurity controls, user access, MFA, permissions, incident response readiness, and compliance with ERISA‑related data‑security expectations.
  • Ensure reliability of core systems (network, servers, cloud services, email, VPN, backups) and coordinate infrastructure improvements with the outsourced provider.
  • Oversee hardware and software lifecycle, procurement, inventory, and workstation standards.
  • Support internal teams with technology needs, reporting, training, day to day IT support, and workflow improvements.
  • Lead documentation for audits, SOC reviews, and client due‑diligence requests.
  • Align technology strategy with organizational goals and communicate effectively with leadership and staff.
  • Oversee software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Monitor system capacity and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls in coordination with managed service provider.
  • Ensure protection of confidential pension member and client data.
  • Support compliance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain IT policies, security standards, and audit documentation.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure proper management of records retention and data access controls.
  • Manage platforms and business-critical applications.
  • Coordinate with software vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Ensure timely support for employees and business users.
  • Deliver user training and promote technology best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Provide technology recommendations to senior management.
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of IT policies, compliance standards, and data‑protection requirements
  • Skill in troubleshooting complex technical issues across systems and applications
  • Skill in project management, upgrades, migrations, and system implementations
  • Skill in vendor management, contracts, and service‑provider oversight
  • Skill in documenting systems, procedures, and changes
  • Ability to lead IT operations and support staff effectively
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage risk, security incidents, and business‑continuity needs
  • Ability to prioritize resources, budgets, and competing IT demands

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience required.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365, cloud environments, networks, and cybersecurity technologies required.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to manage/enhance enterprise software preferred.
  • Experience supporting business-critical financial, pension, insurance, or regulated industry applications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position may require lifting up to 20 pounds, prolonged periods of standing, and occasional bending, reaching or squatting.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move about an office environment as needed.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, office equipment, and tools in a repetitive motion for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak effectively to communicate and perform job duties.
  • Ability to read and interpret printed and electronic materials.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Salary of $90,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Annual performance and compensation reviews.
  • 401k Plan with an employer contribution of 3% of pay.
